Over a decade ago a battered old bus affectionately christened Priscilla; Queen of the Desert drove out of Sydney to become the star of one of the most internationally successful Australian movies of all time.

Priscilla is now transformed into a $6-million fully staged musical with over 500 costumes, a company of 129 and 27 fabulous disco hits, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Musical.  The stage musical has just finished a successful Sydney season at the Lyric Theatre, since its opening on October 7 2006, 500,000 people have attended the spectacular show.  Now, Priscilla is opening in Melbourne on October 6 to begin what will certainly be another successful season.  To celebrate the opening and to answer the publics demand for a live recorded album, Universal and Priscilla have joined forces to record the Australian Cast in all their fabulous glory.

The album replaces the very successful GOLD selling Priscilla Queen of the Desert – Music Inspired by the Musical album.  Not only will this new album be snapped up by people who are soon to see the musical – but also by the half a million fans who have already seen the musical and demanded this cd.

Matt Damon returns as the trained assassin, Jason Bourne for the latest showdown in The Bourne Ultimatum, following 2002’s The Bourne Identity and 2004’s The Bourne Supremacy. Acclaimed director, Paul Greengrass (United 93, The Bourne Supremacy) joins returning cast members, Julia Stiles and Joan Allen and new additions, David Strathairn and Paddy Considine.

All he wanted to do was disappear. Instead, Jason Bourne is now hunted by the people who made him what he is. Having lost his memory and the one person he loved, he is undeterred by the barrage of bullets and a new generation of highly trained killers. Bourne has only one objective: to go back to the beginning and find out who he was.

Now, in the new chapter of this espionage series, Bourne will hunt down his past in order to find a future. He must travel from Moscow, Paris, Madrid and London to Tangier and New York City as he continues his quest to find the real Jason Bourne – all the while trying to outmanoeuvre the scores of cops, federal officers and Interpol agents with him in their crosshairs.

When Big Hair meets Big Dreams, reach for HAIRSPRAY: an all-singing, all-dancing rollercoaster of a movie – which is destined to be this summer’s massive musical mega-hit – and has a soundtrack which is guaranteed to wake you, shake you and make your hair stand on end! And we are pleased to announce that Decca will be releasing this BIG soundtrack!

Think Grease, think Hollywood stars singing their hearts out –including teen heart-thob of the moment, Zac Efron (from Disney’s High School Musical), think John Travolta in a dress with a 54DD cup!
In the case of this movie – the film is the soundtrack and the soundtrack is the film. The audience is all-encompassing. The tunes are catchy - listen once and you’ll be hooked!
Based on the 1988 John Waters cult classic film and the critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning Broadway hit musical, HAIRSPRAY features the all-star ensemble of John Travolta as Edna Turnblad, Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle, Michelle Pfeiffer as Velma Von Tussle, Christopher Walken as Wilbur Turnblad, Zac Efron as Link Larkin, Brittany Snow as Amber Von Tussle, Amanda Bynes as Penny Pingleton, James Marsden as Corny Collins, Elijah Kelley as Seaweed, Allision Janney as Prudy Pingleton and introduces eighteen-year-old newcomer Nikki Blonsky in her professional debut.

The Story: Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – dancing. Her dream is to appear on ‘The Corny Collins Show’, Baltimore’s hippest dance party on TV. Tracy (Nikki Blonsky), seems a natural fit for the show except for one not-so-little problem – she doesn’t fit in. Her plus-sized figure has always set her apart from the cool crowd, which she is reminded of by her loving but overly protective plus-sized mother, Edna (John Travolta). That doesn’t stop Tracy because if there is one thing that this girl knows, it’s that she was born to dance. As her father Wilbur (Christopher Walken) tells her, “Go for it! You’ve got to think big to be big.”
When big hair meets big dreams, anything can happen – and does – in this high energy comedy that proves you don’t have to fit in to win.
