The set includes two CDs devoted to the music of J.S. Bach and one devoted to Tchaikovsky. The remaining two contain a sublime programme of music by Dvo?ák, Barber, Saint-Saëns, Bruch, Canteloube and many more.
Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Air on the G String and selections from his Concerti sit alongside excerpts from Tchaikovsky's famous ballets, The Nutcracker and Romeo and Juliet, both Albinoni and Barber's Adagios, Elgar's Chanson de matin and Massenet's Meditation from Thaïs.
