For the first time in Australia, Opera Australia presents a fully-staged new production of Antonin Dvoøák's Rusalka , starring Cheryl Barker in the title role. Dvoøák's fairytale is best known for the sublime aria, 'Song to the Moon', sung by Rusalka as she dreams of winning her beloved prince. But Dvorák's magical score, shot through with evocative fragments of Slavic folksong, is so much more than just one song.

Sung in Czech with surtitles.
