Miramax Films presents THE AVIATOR, the Howard Hughes biopic starring Academy Award® Nominee Leonardo DiCaprio (Gangs of New York, Catch Me If You Can) and directed by legendary film-maker Martin Scorcese (Gangs Of New York, Casino, The Age Of Innocence, Cape Fear, Good Fellas, The Last Temptation Of Christ, Raging Bull). This is one of the most highly-acclaimed films of this year's Oscar season!

THE AVIATOR is the story of aviation pioneer Howard Hughes (DiCaprio), the eccentric billionaire industrialist and Hollywood film mogul, famous for romancing some of the world's most beautiful women: Jean Harlow, Katherine Hepburn, Ava Gardner to name a few. The drama recounts the years of his life from the late 1920s through the 1940s, an epoch when Hughes was directing and producing Hollywood movies and test flying innovative aircrafts he designed and created.

The film also stars: Academy Award® Nominee Cate Blanchett, Academy Award® Nominee Alec Baldwin, Golden Globe Nominee Alan Alda, Kate Beckinsale and Gwen Stefani
