To celebrate Aled Jones' Australian tour this June, we are releasing a special album that takes you on a journey through his career, from boy soprano to honey-dewed baritone. In addition to the popular tracks featured on his albums, there are additional bonus tracks as well as an excerpt from his recording of Handel's Athalia. And to embody the spirit of the concerts (all with Welsh choirs), uplifting Welsh choral tracks from participating choirs will be included on this 'journey'.

Canto (Italian for 'song'), subtitled 'The Spirit of the Voice' is a heart-stopping collection of male vocal ballads featuring the best-loved songs from a 'who's who' of the leading male vocalists of our time.

Russell Watson delivers his majestic Nella Fantasia (based on the ever popular theme from Morricone's score for The Mission) and also sings the Bach/Gounod Ave Maria, then duets with Lionel Richie in The Magic of Love. Two of Alessandro Safina's most popular tracks - Luna and Aria e Memoria - are joined by the magnificent opening track Notturno from his latest album.

Bryn Terfel is inimitable in You'll Never Walk Alone. Dmitri Hvorostovsky, the Russian baritone who beat Bryn to first place in the Cardiff Singer of the World Competition in 1989 sings one of his country's most popular songs, Dark Eyes.

All 'Three Tenors' are represented. Pavarotti by the 'pop' hit Caruso and the Neapolitan song 'O sole mio; Carreras by one of his newest tracks (Pomba Branca) from a forthcoming album; Domingo by a tango from his native Argentina.

A real coup on the album is the final track - You Raise Me Up - with Melbourne-born, Irish-based singer Johnny Logan doing the lead vocals, this being the first ever release of this version with Secret Garden, for which the artists gave special permission for this compilation.

Two young Americans - Josh Groban with his first hit single To Where You Are , and Joshua Payne (who was voted one of of People magazine's   'Sexiest Men Alive' in 2003) - round out the compilation.

And that's not all! Four of the artists on the bill (represented with 8 tracks, no less) - Russell Watson, Secret Garden, Aled Jones and Luciano Pavarotti (on his farewell tour) - will tour Australia this year.

And the lavish booklet contains a brief biography of the artists, websites and recommended recordings. Romantic with a Capital R, this is perfect for Mother's Day... but more than that, it's Perennial (with a Capital P)!

DreamWorks Pictures (UIP) will release The Ring Two, the sequel to the 2002 horror hit The Ring on March 24 th in Australia. The Decca soundtrack features music by Academy Award® winner Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Hannibal, The Last Samurai), along with Henning Lohner and Martin Tillman. A soundtrack to The Ring was never released.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS

Academy Award® nominee Naomi Watts (21 Grams) reprises the role of investigative reporter Rachel Keller in The Ring Two. Hideo Nakata, the director of the original Japanese blockbuster Ringu upon which the The Ring was based, directed The Ring Two, which marks his American film debut.

The story picks up six months after the horrifying events that terrorized Rachel Keller and her son Aidan (David Dorfman - The Ring) in Seattle. To escape her haunting memories, Rachel takes Aidan and moves to the small coastal community of Astoria, Oregon, to start fresh. However, Rachel's resolve quickly turns to dread when evidence at a local crime scene-including an unmarked videotape-seems eerily familiar. Rachel realizes that the vengeful Samara is back and more determined than ever to continue her relentless cycle of terror and death.
